Professional summary example
"Junior data analyst with 18 months of experience and a promotion into a lead reporting role. Automated the weekly sales report in SQL and Python, saving 15 analyst hours per week, and now trains two new hires on the dashboard stack."
Why it works: Time-bound experience, one quantified win, and early responsibility (training others). It shows slope: 18 months in, already compounding.

One page. With under two years of experience, a single focused page is both expected and strategically better: it forces your best evidence to the top.
Do internships count as work experience on an entry-level resume?
Yes. Treat internships like jobs with result bullets and numbers. An internship converted into a return offer or production tool is the strongest entry-level evidence available.
Should I include my GPA after graduation?
Include it for your first year or two if it is 3.5+, especially for structured early-career programs that screen on it. After that, experience takes over entirely.
